I believe it is fair to say that this year’s Viz-Priority Polar Pulse was a night to remember. With this year’s dance taking place at Priory, the new environment was somewhat exciting to explore. With no breathalyzing line, getting into the dance was a quick and smooth transition. The Viz girls popped out with beautiful dresses all around, most often ranging in a gorgeous array of red, black, and green categories. Way to get into the Christmas spirit Vivettes! It’s always fun to see a display of suitors for the beautiful Viz girls, and I’m proud to report that the majority of these young men could, in fact, reach the top shelf! Never settle for squatting down in pictures ladies. I think we can all agree that there was a fantastic step-up from last year, when it comes to music, as there was little to no glitching, skipping, or technical difficulties while jamming out. As I scanned the event, a satisfactory amount of frat flicking took place, proving that the theme of ‘Polar Pulse’ was successfully executed and thoroughly enjoyed by attendees alike. I was also pleased to report that no serious injuries took place as a result of a mosh pit. Maybe a few toes stepped on, but it’s all part of the fun. However, if you fell victim to The Glow Stick Massacre of 2024, you are not alone. I remember it like it was yesterday. An innocent, unexpecting Viz girl would be happily busting a move on the dance floor, and so suddenly, out of the depths, comes a heap of hurdling glow sticks, all launched at 100 miles per hour directly at her head. Nevertheless, the fight only made us stronger, once again proving the relentless diligence and perseverance that all Vivettes possess. Overall, The Polar Pulse was a fantastic way to kick off December with Christmas Spirit and a sense of comradery. Congratulations to everyone on the victory against Priory in regards to the canned food drive, and I hope to see you all there next year!
