What Your Prom Dress Says About You 

As you all know, prom is this weekend for the juniors and seniors and my most favorite part of prom is seeing what all of my classmates dresses look like. It’s so fun seeing everyone look like they’re ready to walk the red carpet since we all show up in the same uniform looking like we just rolled out of bed every other day of the school year. But let’s be honest, your prom dress is more than just a dress. We spend weeks, even months, finding the perfect dress and it says a lot about us. Here’s what yours says about you: 

The Ball Gown – You are SERVING main character and you know it. This isn't just prom for you, this is a royal ball. You have been planning this night for months and everything is color coordinated. I KNOW your makeup looks bomb and you have the most gorgeous corsage I’ve ever seen. You are going to have so many pictures by the end of the night, it is going to take forever to post, but it will look like vogue posted it.  

The Sparkly One – You are glowing, like actually. You look like a fairy princess and I’m almost positive you pulled up in a limo. I just know you have the best prom Pinterest board and there is a 99% chance the TikTok you are making that night is going viral. I live for a good sparkly dress moment.  

The Sleek Black Dress – STUNNING. You are actually so cool, let me be you. I’m not kidding you look like you just came from a runway show without even trying. The black dress always eats, I’ve never seen one I disliked. Somehow, you look like you didn’t care that much and still look flawless. I'm jealous.  

The Floral/Pastel Dress – OKAY staying on theme I see. These looks are so beautiful and I’m really hoping to see a bunch given the theme this year. You look like you just stepped out of a Taylor Swift music video and you probably played Taylor. I know you are a creative and artsy person, your Instagram is definitely so aesthetic. The girls in these dresses always look so nice, definitely want to be friends with you. I know you carry lip-gloss and extra bobby pins for your girls. I can’t wait to see your pictures.
